Our Story

We are Basu and Robin Ghosh, a father and son team in the business of creating great-tasting West Bengali Indian cuisine inspired by our family’s recipes and authentic cooking methods.

Not long ago, our five year entrepreneurial journey brought us a new challenge: to bust the popular myth that vegan and vegetarian food cannot be great-tasting. Well, we always love a good challenge, so we went to work right away.  We devoted a considerable amount of expertise, focus, and energy to transforming traditional and non-traditional Indian cuisine into vegan and vegetarian options.

Guess what happened in six short months? We busted the myth! That's right, friends. Vegan and vegetarian food CAN be great-tasting! We couldn't be happier with our results, because now you get to enjoy our savory entrees just as much as we enjoyed creating them for you. Watching your eyes light up when you taste the wonderful flavors in our sauces and dishes gives us so much satisfaction.

We are pleased to announce that Whole Foods Market in Southern California recently launched our product line – including dishes made with dal, chutney, and saffron rice – in the Whole Foods Kitchen at their West Hollywood store location. Be sure to try our delicious cuisine in the days ahead.

In the meantime, we invite you to continue looking through our website to learn more about us and how you can participate in what we are doing.
